The Lodge offers gondola service over Mountain Road, which places guests right at the base of the main gondola. Or, you can head to the North Peak and hit the intermediate and beginner trails there.

For larger parties, the best Stowe lodging has to be The Inn at the Mountain’s Condominium and Townhouse Rentals. Whether you need a two bedroom unit for a small family, or a five-bedroom home for a large corporate or college group, you can find something to suit your needs here. Best of all, all of the townhouses and condominiums have washer/dryer units in the home and full kitchens; this is perfect for saving additional money by preparing your own meals and saves you from lugging home dirty clothes. While doing laundry might not seem like an ideal vacation pastime, sometimes the sound of a dryer spinning can lend soothing white noise at the end of a hectic day.

Free shuttles run continuously in the winter from the slopes to the nearby town, so there’s no need to feel like you’re being left out if you stay off-site.
